This is actually normal behaviour explained by science. When animals are freshly killed, parts of their nervous system can still function like motor nerves. These motor nerves might still have potential energy in them and can be activated some what easily. Usually this happens when someone presses the nerves or puts salt on because neurons work well on salts. Even without a brain, neurons can still be activated in these ways but they can also move on their own which is also natural.
